Erin has been counseling since 2015 and joined CWI’s counseling team in 2025. She has been working with CWI as an adjunct professor teaching PSY 110, Drug Use and Misuse in the United States since Fall of 2022. Erin attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology in 2008. After graduating, she worked in the counseling office at the university, specifically with students who had alcohol-related infractions on campus, through a program called BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening in College Students). This program educated students on alcohol consumption reduction through a fact-based, nonjudgmental approach.

Erin earned her Master’s Degree in Education, Disabilities, and Human Services from the University of Idaho’s Rehabilitation Counseling program in 2016. Erin maintains a Certified Rehabilitation Counseling License (CRC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. During her master’s program, Erin interned with Ada County Juvenile Court Services as a counselor in the detention facility.

Erin most recently worked as a school-to-work transition counselor for Vocational Rehabilitation in the West Ada School District, helping students with disabilities identify employment and post-secondary goals. In this role, Erin worked directly with students transitioning from high school to employment and acted as an advocate, counselor, and case manager.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys going to the gym, paddleboarding, and skiing. Erin also spends time with her kids and attends various events. Erin also enjoys spending time with her two dogs, watching TV on the couch, and going for walks and hikes. Some of her favorite personal accomplishments have been running a marathon and summitting Mount Borah, Idaho’s tallest peak.
