Resources on campus and throughout the community are available for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÍø students seeking assistance with child care, food, healthcare, housing, or transportation. Explore the information below to learn more. 

  • Child Care

     is the leading expert and resource for quality child care in Idaho.

     provides low cost child care and educational programs for children in  and .

     has four locations and offers drop-in child care.

     is a nonprofit childcare center supporting low income families with several locations in and around Boise.

     offers child care centers, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs.

  • Food Security

    Five food and hygiene pantries are located throughout CWI's campuses where students and employees are welcome to help themselves to what they need. Find a pantry location, learn how to donate to the pantry, and explore local food pantries and food assistance programs.

  • General Assistance

     is a free, confidential, online service you can use to locate housing assistance, food pantries, medical care, transportation, and more.

    The Salvation Army supports community members in need with utilities, clothing, food, shelter, and beyond.

     (WICAP) can help with a wide variety of emergency needs such as financial assistance and money management, transportation, household items, heating assistance, food, education and employment support. Serves Canyon, Washington, Adams, and Valley counties.

  • Healthcare

     provides affordable full-service healthcare to individuals and families. There is a discounted fee schedule available to patients who qualify.

     is a community health center dedicated to providing affordable, comprehensive healthcare. They offer medical and dental care as well as mental health services and have locations throughout the Treasure Valley. 

     offers free medical, dental, mental health, or social services to those who are uninsured or have a lower income.

     helps Medicaid participants find a clinic or Primary Care Provider (PCP) to coordinate their healthcare needs.

     is a free clinic providing medical, counseling, and dental services for those who do not have health insurance and live at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level.

  • Housing

     is a free rental housing site that helps renters look for housing to meet their needs throughout Idaho.

     provides affordable housing-related assistance to people with low and moderate incomes.

     provides rental assistance to qualified low income families in Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Washington, and Valley counties in Southwest Idaho.

     is a hub for ending homelessness, providing temporary or long-term support, and connecting you with resources that lead to stable, safe, and healthy housing.
